Detailed Itinerary
ZANSKAR LEH EXPEDITION
DAY 01: DELHI/CHANDIAGARH – MANALI: (600 kms/300 kms – 12/7 hrs)
On the very first day of your tour, you’ll pick up your cars and start your journey to Manali, the valley of Gods. After a journey of 600/300 kms, you’ll be reaching Manali by evening. On reaching Manali, check in to hotel and here you meet us.

DAY 02: MANALI – JISPA: (95 kms- 5hrs)
After having your breakfastin hotel, you’ll be starting your today’s journey towards Jispa. Jispa is a village in Lahaul with an elevation of 10,500 ft. It is located at a distance of approx. 95km and it’ll take around 3 hrs to cover this journey. Meanwhile, on this day you’ll be passing from various locations such as Sissu, Keylong, Gemur, etc.

DAY 03: JISPA – DARCHA – SHINKU LE – PURNE: (90 kms – 5-6 hrs)
On the third day of you tour,you’ll be proceeding to Purne, after having your breakfast in Jispa. Meanwhile, you’ll be visiting Darcha&Shinku La before reaching Purne. Darcha is also known as Dartse and is situated at an elevation of 11,020 ft and the Shinku La, also known as Shingo La is a mountain pass in India, on the border between Ladakh and Himachal Pradesh. The elevation of Shinku La is 16,703 ft. It’ll take you around 3.5 hrs to cover the stretch of approx. 90 kms and reach Purne from Darcha.

DAY 04: PURNE – PADUM: (55 kms –6-7hrs)
After having your breakfast in Purne, check out from the homestay and start driving towards Padum. Padum also known as Padam, is a village situated at an elevation of 12,037 ft. On the way, you’ll be visiting Phuktal Monastery with a trek of 1.5-2 hrs.

DAY 05: PADUM – ZANGLA: (50 kms – 6-7 hrs)
On the fifth day of your Leh Zanskar Expedition, start your drive towards Zangla. On the way you’ll be visiting KarshaMonestary, StrongdeyMonestary, Zangla Palace, etc.

DAY 06: ZANGLA – KARGIL: (265 kms – 8hrs)
After having the breakfast, check out and proceed towards Kargil. Kargil is situated at an elevation of 11,562 ft. It’ll take around 8 hrs to cover the distance of approx. 265 kms.

DAY 07: KARGIL – LEH: (220 kms – 6-7hrs)
On your 7th day of your tour, you’ll be travelling to Leh. It’ll take you around 5 hrs to cover a distance of 220 kms.

DAY 08: EXPLORE LEH:
On this day, you’ll be exploring Leh by visiting various sightseeing of Leh.

DAY 09:LEH – NUBRA: (130 kms – 6-7 hrs)
After having your breakfast, proceed towards Nubra. Nubra also known as Dumra, is at a distance of around 165 kms from Leh, which will take approx. 5 hrs to reach. It is situated at an elevation of 10,000 ft.

DAY 10:NUBRA – PANGONG: (240 kms – 8-9hrs)
On the 10th day of your tour, here you’ll be finally reaching to Pangong Tso. Pangong is situated on an elevation of 13,862 ft. It’ll take you around 7.5 hrs to cover 275 kms from Nubra to Pangong.

DAY 11:PANGONG – TSO KAR: (310 kms – 9-12hrs)
After having breakfast in Pangong, drive towards Tso Kar. Tso Kar is located at an elevation of 14,860 ft. Tso Kar is fluctuating salt lake known for its size and depth situated in the Rupshu Plateau and valley in the southern part of Ladakh in India.

DAY 12:TSO KAR – MANALI: (320 kms – 10-12 hrs)
Here, on final day of your tour, it’s time to say good by to Leh-Zanskar, as we step back to Manali. On this day, after taking the morning meal, we come back to Manali. This day by evening, we’ll reach Manali and visit the Mall Road, etc. during the evening time.
